General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

The Care Pharmacy premises are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) under the following registration numbers:

Click here to visit the GPhC website.

The GPhC sets national standards for pharmacists and pharmacies across Great Britain, ensuring that:

  • Pharmacists are appropriately registered, qualified, and trained
  • Pharmacies are inspected against national standards for safety and quality
  • Any concerns about pharmacies or pharmacists are thoroughly investigated

Our prescribing pharmacists are fully qualified and registered with the GPhC. They have undertaken additional training to prescribe treatments safely and effectively for the medical conditions we treat.

Our Superintendent Pharmacist, Mohammed Ismail Lakhi (Reg. No. 2072815) and Pharmacist Asam Bashir (Reg. No. 2074007) are both registered with the GPhC:
