Beclometasone price: what a 200-spray bottle costs

Our beclometasone price starts at £5.99 for a prescription-only 200-spray bottle at 50 micrograms per spray, plus delivery. At our 21 October 2026 check, Chemist Click listed a matching-strength 200-dose bottle at £5.49 and Click2Pharmacy charged £6.25 for one. Check the quantity carefully: some lower headline prices apply to several bottles, or to smaller shop-bought packs.

One bottle costs £5.99 before delivery here

With our £3.99 standard postage, one bottle comes to £9.98. Chemist Click’s £5.49 Nasobec bottle plus its £2.99 Tracked 48 postage gives £8.48. The worked difference is £1.50, although the two postal services are not identical.

We sell beclometasone and checked the other named pharmacies on 21 October 2026. The comparison excludes discount codes and covers these providers only. We could not confirm Click2Pharmacy’s applicable delivery charge, so you will need to add that to its medicine price.

Chemist Click’s single bottle is 50p below our medicine price. Click2Pharmacy’s is 26p above it. These small differences can change once delivery is included, which is why medicine and postage sit in separate columns.

Our pack contains beclometasone at 50 micrograms per spray, with 200 sprays per bottle. The manufacturer may vary. Chemist Click identifies Nasobec, while Click2Pharmacy allows brands to vary. Matching those specifications does not guarantee identical packaging or inactive ingredients.

If you have an ingredient allergy or a prescription naming a particular brand, ask the dispensing pharmacy to confirm the exact product before ordering. The generic medicine name alone does not answer that question. Keep the supplied leaflet so you can check its ingredients and device instructions.

Why a “from £5.79” offer may cost £17.37

Click2Pharmacy’s £5.79 figure is the price per bottle when buying three, with a total of £17.37. Its two-bottle option costs £12.20, or £6.10 each. One bottle costs £6.25. Those are three different purchases, even though the smallest figure is the most prominent.

Chemist Click lists two bottles for £9.49 and three for £13.49 before delivery. We have kept those bundle totals out of the one-bottle table so that a lower unit price is not mistaken for the amount payable for a single bottle.

For an occasional user, the smallest appropriate supply can cost less overall than a bundle with a lower price per bottle. For an established prescription, a larger supply may be considered at review. The quantity should fit the treatment plan and expiry dates, rather than a free-delivery target.

Before comparing a repeat order, check what you already have, the opening date and the amount prescribed next. Unused liquid is not a saving if it expires or treatment changes. Ask for a quote for the agreed quantity rather than assuming the lowest bulk price applies.

200 sprays describes the bottle, not the daily dose

Beclometasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation inside the nose. The NHS beclometasone overview explains its use for allergy symptoms. Prescription and non-prescription products exist, with different pack and access arrangements; this comparison concerns the confirmed prescription-only 200-spray supply.

The strength is 50 micrograms in each spray, often shortened to 50mcg. It is not 50 milligrams, and 200 is the spray count rather than the strength. A beclometasone inhaler for asthma is a different medicine form and does not belong in a nasal-spray comparison.

The Beconase Aqueous product information provides an example of a prescription beclometasone nasal spray at this strength and pack count. We may supply a different brand. Follow the leaflet for the particular bottle supplied.

The number of days covered depends on how many sprays you have been prescribed each day and on preparing the pump for use. A bottle is therefore not automatically a one-month or two-month supply. Ask the pharmacist when to request a repeat under your own directions.

Beclometasone price after postage

Our delivery terms list £3.99 for standard Royal Mail Tracked 24, free on orders over £40. One £5.99 bottle is below that threshold. Premium services cost more; the £9.98 example uses standard postage only.

Chemist Click’s lower-priced Tracked 48 option costs £2.99, while its Tracked 24 option costs £4.50. With the same £5.49 bottle, the faster listed option would total £9.99. The delivery choice almost removes the difference between the two worked bills, without guaranteeing the same arrival date.

Click2Pharmacy includes its online consultation and private prescription in the medicine offer. Its general reference to free delivery options is not enough to assume that one £6.25 bottle qualifies. Check its final delivery quote before comparing the total with ours.

Clinical approval and dispatch take place before postal delivery. Allow time for questions from the pharmacy, especially if symptoms are worsening or you need a review. If you need treatment urgently, contact the pharmacy to check assessment and dispatch times before paying for express postage.

Get useful relief from the bottle you buy

Beclometasone needs regular use. It may take several days to work fully, and some people need two weeks or more for the greatest benefit. If you only use it once on a bad day, a disappointing result does not necessarily mean you need a more expensive spray.

Follow your own label and the NHS advice on using beclometasone nasal spray. Preparing a new pump, keeping the bottle upright and using the nozzle correctly help deliver the medicine. Ask a pharmacist to check your technique if liquid runs down your throat or you are unsure.

  • Tell the clinician how long the symptoms have lasted and which treatments you have tried.
  • Mention recent nose surgery, injury, infections and recurrent nosebleeds.
  • List other steroid medicines, including inhalers and creams, and HIV treatment.
  • Discuss pregnancy, breastfeeding and any known ingredient allergies.

Other steroids and medicines such as ritonavir or cobicistat can affect the risk assessment. A clinician may recommend a different approach or monitoring. Do not add another steroid spray just because it is on offer.

When to ask for a review

Dryness, soreness, an unpleasant taste and nosebleeds can occur. The NHS side-effect advice explains what to do and when to seek help. Contact a pharmacist if symptoms persist or the treatment is difficult to use.

Changes in vision, breathing problems, damage to the nose or sores inside it need prompt medical advice; contact a doctor or NHS 111. Call 999 for a severe allergic reaction with throat swelling or difficulty breathing. Do not wait for a replacement bottle in those circumstances.

If allergy symptoms remain troublesome despite correct regular use, our hay fever service can assess the next step. Tell the clinician about one-sided blockage, bleeding or symptoms that feel different from your usual allergies. A treatment review is more useful than repeatedly buying the same bottle without improvement.

Beclometasone price questions
