Trimovate Price Comparison UK: 30g Cream and Full Costs

Compare the full cost of a 30g Trimovate tube

Trimovate prices at The Care Pharmacy start at £26.99 for a 30g tube, plus delivery. This prescription cream combines a steroid, antibiotic and antifungal, so comparing it with a plain steroid or antifungal would be misleading. The useful comparison is the same branded cream, tube size and supply route.

The quick answer: the 30g pack prices are close

The Care Pharmacy lists a 30g Trimovate tube at £26.99, Click2Pharmacy at £25.99 and Oxford Online Pharmacy at £28.99. Click2Pharmacy’s advertised pack is £1 below ours, while Oxford’s is £2 above. These are pack-price differences, not a confirmed ranking after delivery.

Our £3.99 standard delivery gives a worked total of £30.98 for one tube. We have not added assumed shipping charges to either competitor’s figure, because the applicable amount for those exact orders was not verified.

The Care Pharmacy sells Trimovate and produced this guide. We checked this limited three-provider sample on 16 October 2026, without discount codes. It does not identify the lowest price across the UK or decide whether the cream is appropriate for a particular rash.

Trimovate prices for the same 30g cream

Branded Trimovate: one 30g tube · 16 October 2026
Provider Advertised pack price Difference from our pack price
The Care Pharmacy £26.99 —
Click2Pharmacy £25.99 £1.00 lower
Oxford Online Pharmacy £28.99 £2.00 higher

All three rows use a 30g tube of the branded combination cream. A lower-priced product with only one of its ingredients is not the same medicine. It should not appear in this table as though it provides an identical treatment.

Trimovate combines clobetasone butyrate 0.05%, oxytetracycline 3% and nystatin 100,000 units per gram. The ingredients address inflammation and particular associated infections when the combination is clinically appropriate. They do not make the cream a general treatment for every itchy or infected area.

The word “steroid” also covers products with different potency. Plain clobetasone, hydrocortisone, betamethasone and combination creams need their own prescribing decisions. A price per tube cannot tell you which ingredients your skin needs.

Trimovate prices with delivery and assessment in view

One tube at our £26.99 price plus £3.99 standard delivery totals £30.98. Our free standard delivery threshold applies to orders over £40, so a single tube does not qualify. Do not buy extra prescription cream simply to avoid postage.

Click2Pharmacy includes the consultation and private prescription in its treatment price. Its £25.99 is still shown here as a pack price because the applicable delivery charge was not confirmed. Oxford’s £28.99 is treated the same way: we have not silently converted it into a delivered amount.

If you compare another offer, ask which charges are included, which delivery service applies to your address and whether the proposed supply changes after assessment. A final quote is more useful than a search snippet, especially when a small medicine-price difference could be outweighed by postage.

Why a tube is not a fixed treatment duration

The amount used depends on the affected area and the prescribed application instructions. A 30g tube does not automatically mean a month’s treatment. Skin folds, small patches and larger areas are different situations, and the clinician may recommend a short review interval.

At our price, the medicine costs about 90p per gram. That figure describes the tube economics; it does not tell you how much to apply or whether to keep using it until empty. Follow the prescribed course rather than trying to obtain a particular number of days from the pack.

Do not save a partly used combination cream as an automatic answer to another rash. The next problem may have a different cause, and unnecessary antibiotic use can encourage resistance. Ask about reassessment if the skin does not improve as expected or the same problem keeps returning.

What to explain during the skin assessment

Useful information helps the clinician decide whether this particular combination is needed:

  • Where the rash is, how long it has been present and whether it is spreading.
  • Any pain, broken skin, discharge, fever or rapidly worsening symptoms.
  • Previous steroid, antifungal or antibiotic creams and what happened when you used them.
  • Other medicines, allergies and any previous reaction to a skin treatment.

A photograph may help a service assess the area, but it does not replace the questions or guarantee a prescription. Explain if the skin is in a fold or covered by clothing, because those circumstances affect treatment and precautions.

Our existing Trimovate and intertrigo guide discusses the skin-fold context. This article focuses on cost. Neither should be used to diagnose every fold rash as a problem needing an antibiotic-containing cream.

Read the restrictions before requesting Trimovate

Trimovate is for certain inflamed skin conditions with an appropriate associated infection, when prescribed. It is unsuitable for several problems, including acne, rosacea, primary viral skin infections and primary fungal or bacterial infections. It should not be applied in or near the eyes.

If there is no clinical improvement within seven days, the treatment needs reassessment. Do not keep extending it yourself. Seek advice sooner if the area worsens, and urgent help for a severe allergic reaction. Significant or prolonged diarrhoea during or after use also needs prompt medical advice.

Read the Trimovate patient leaflet for full precautions. Fabric contaminated with the cream can catch fire more easily; keep away from smoking and naked flames. Washing may reduce residue but does not remove the risk completely.

Make any repeat quote specific to the current plan

If you have used Trimovate before, tell the new prescriber when, where and for how long, and whether the skin cleared. A repeat request should include the response and any unwanted effects, rather than only the old product name.

If another treatment is recommended, compare its actual ingredients, quantity and charges separately. A plain antifungal or steroid may cost less, but it is a different clinical proposal. Conversely, a more expensive combination is not automatically better care.

The Trimovate product options show our current price. Our eczema and dermatitis service provides the assessment route. Keep the agreed tube, course instructions and total together before deciding; an available stock listing alone does not establish suitability.

Trimovate prices: check the final quote

Trimovate prices should stay attached to the same three-ingredient cream and 30g tube. A quote for a different combination can look similar while containing another antibiotic, steroid or antifungal. Ask the clinician to explain the proposed product before using the old figure as a benchmark.

For a repeat request, keep the date and response to the previous course in your notes. Trimovate prices do not tell you whether the same treatment is still needed. If a prescriber recommends plain treatment instead, that can be an appropriate change rather than a reason to search for a stronger combination.

Trimovate prices: common questions

Are Trimovate prices for a 30g tube?

Yes. All main comparison rows use one 30g tube of branded Trimovate cream. Plain steroids or antifungals are different products and are excluded.

Does £26.99 include standard delivery?

No. Our £3.99 standard delivery gives a worked total of £30.98 for one tube under the terms checked. Confirm the current final amount before payment.

Is the lower pack price the lower delivered price?

Not necessarily. Click2Pharmacy’s pack is £1 below ours, but its applicable delivery charge was not verified. Compare the final charges for the same order.

Can I use Trimovate whenever a rash returns?

Do not automatically restart it. The cause and treatment need reassessment, particularly because it contains an antibiotic. Seek advice if symptoms worsen or do not improve within seven days.

Discuss eczema and dermatitis with a clinician

The Care Pharmacy’s eczema and dermatitis service assesses your symptoms, medical history and current medicines before recommending treatment. You can ask about suitable options, the proposed quantity and the full cost before deciding. Completing an assessment does not guarantee a prescription or supply.
