How often do I take it?

Foundayo is taken once a day. You can choose a time that suits your own routine, and it can be taken with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole, with water
• Do not crush, split or chew it
• Never take more than one tablet within a single day
• Do not adjust your own dose without your prescriber’s instruction

How does the dose increase over time?

Foundayo follows a step-by-step escalation schedule, moving up in stages rather than starting at a full treatment dose. This gives your body time to adjust and helps limit early side effects.

1. Start on 0.8 mg once daily for a minimum of 30 days
2. Move up to 2.5 mg once daily, again for at least 30 days
3. If appropriate, increase to 5.5 mg once daily for a further 30 days at minimum

Beyond this point, your prescriber may continue to raise your dose gradually if it is clinically appropriate, again allowing at least 30 days at each level:

• 9 mg once daily
• 14.5 mg once daily
• 17.2 mg once daily, the maximum recommended dose

Not everyone needs to reach the top of this range. Your prescriber will decide the right dose for you based on how you are responding and tolerating treatment.

What if I forget to take a dose?

If a dose slips your mind, take it as soon as you remember on the same day. A few important points to keep in mind:

• Do not take two tablets on the same day to make up for a missed one
• If you only remember close to your next scheduled dose, simply continue with your normal routine from that point

What if I take too much?

If you think you have taken more Foundayo than prescribed, contact your prescriber, your GP, or another healthcare professional straight away. Taking more than the recommended dose can bring on symptoms such as nausea or vomiting.
