Compare Flixonase Aqueous by spray count and full cost

Flixonase prices at The Care Pharmacy start at £19.95 for one 150-spray bottle, plus delivery. This guide compares prescription Flixonase Aqueous Nasal Spray at 50 micrograms per spray. It keeps other fluticasone brands and nasal drops separate so the headline prices describe the same presentation.

The quick answer: delivery changes the small pack-price gap

The Care Pharmacy lists a 150-spray Flixonase Aqueous bottle at £19.95, Boots Online Doctor at £20 and Click2Pharmacy at £17.75. Click2Pharmacy has the lower advertised bottle price in this sample. Its applicable shipping charge was not verified, so that figure is not treated as a final delivered total.

Our £3.99 standard delivery brings one bottle to £23.94. Boots advertises free standard delivery, giving £20 for its matching bottle under the terms checked. A five-pence difference between our medicine prices becomes a £3.94 difference after those delivery terms.

The Care Pharmacy sells Flixonase and produced this comparison. We checked the three named services on 16 October 2026, without discount codes. This limited sample does not identify the cheapest service across the UK.

Flixonase prices for the same 150-spray bottle

Flixonase Aqueous: 50mcg, 150 sprays · 16 October 2026
Provider Bottle price Delivery and total
The Care Pharmacy £19.95 £3.99 standard; £23.94 total
Boots Online Doctor £20.00 Free standard; £20.00 total
Click2Pharmacy £17.75 Applicable charge not verified

The product is Flixonase Aqueous Nasal Spray, containing fluticasone propionate. Each metered spray contains 50 micrograms. The supplied presentation here is 150 sprays per bottle. That quantity is separate from the 50mcg of medicine in each metered spray.

The medicine information also lists a 120-spray presentation. A smaller bottle should not be placed beside the 150-spray pack as an identical offer. Check the actual selected pack, rather than relying only on the brand name or a photograph.

Flixonase nasal drops are another presentation and are excluded. So are other fluticasone brands, including pharmacy allergy-relief products. Even when an ingredient name is shared, the brand, pack, formulation and supply route need to remain clear.

Flixonase prices with the charges kept visible

Our standard delivery costs £3.99 and is free on orders over £40. One £19.95 bottle falls below the threshold, so its worked total is £23.94. Check the current delivery terms and final quote for your address and any premium service.

Click2Pharmacy includes its consultation and private prescription in the treatment price. That does not establish free delivery. We have kept its £17.75 as an advertised bottle price instead of guessing a shipping charge to complete a ranking.

When checking another provider, record which parts of the service are included and whether a first-order code changes the offer. A repeat customer may pay a different amount from a promotional headline. None of the calculations here assumes a voucher, membership or automatic repeat order.

Why 150 sprays is not a fixed treatment duration

The spray count tells you the labelled number of metered doses in the bottle. Your prescribed instructions determine how many sprays you use across both nostrils each day. A bottle therefore cannot be assigned one universal number of weeks or months.

Our medicine price works out at about 13.3p per labelled spray before delivery. This unit figure can help explain the bottle cost, but it should not determine the dose. Reducing sprays to stretch a purchase or increasing them because another bottle is cheap can undermine the treatment plan.

Priming, regular use and cleaning are part of using the device correctly. Follow the leaflet supplied with your own bottle, including storage instructions. If a nozzle stops working, ask a pharmacist rather than using something sharp to unblock or alter it.

Four checks before choosing a repeat supply

Bring these details into the assessment and price comparison:

  • The Flixonase Aqueous name, 50mcg strength and 150-spray bottle size.
  • Your current directions and whether regular use has helped.
  • Other nasal products and steroid medicines, including inhalers and creams.
  • Any persistent nosebleeds, nasal soreness, visual symptoms or recent nose surgery.

If you switch providers, keep the old dispensing label or a photograph of the pack. It helps avoid confusion between spray and drops or between different fluticasone products. A lower quote is useful only when the proposed supply is clear.

Tell the clinician if the symptoms have changed or remain troublesome. Another bottle may be appropriate, but a review of technique, diagnosis or the wider allergy plan may matter more than buying the same treatment at a different price.

Important precautions for Flixonase Aqueous

Flixonase is a corticosteroid nasal spray for allergic rhinitis. Regular use as directed is needed for full benefit, which can take several days. It is not an instant decongestant, and an early lack of relief is not a reason to increase the dose yourself.

Nosebleeds, dryness, irritation and an unpleasant taste or smell can occur. Tell the prescriber about other steroid treatment and medicines such as ritonavir or cobicistat, which can increase steroid exposure. Ask promptly about persistent bleeding, significant irritation or visual changes.

Read the Flixonase Aqueous patient leaflet for full restrictions, device instructions and pregnancy advice. The NHS fluticasone information explains the different preparations. Seek urgent help for a severe allergic reaction. Do not combine steroid nasal sprays without advice.

Keep the prescription route clear

The Flixonase Aqueous presentation compared here is prescription-only. The existence of other fluticasone products sold through pharmacies does not change the supply route for this particular product. An online stock listing does not remove the need for assessment.

Our Flixonase product page gives the 150-spray bottle details and prescription presentation. The hay fever service provides a route to discuss whether it fits your symptoms, health and other medicines.

If another product is recommended, compare the new proposal on its own terms. Keep the exact bottle, instructions and full cost together, and recheck them when requesting a repeat. An old starting price does not guarantee a future prescription, quantity or delivery charge.

Flixonase prices: check the final quote

When recording Flixonase prices, include “Aqueous”, “50mcg” and “150 sprays” together. Those details distinguish the compared bottle from drops, smaller packs and other fluticasone products. A saved headline without them may be difficult to interpret when you return to it later.

Also note whether the quote is for one bottle or a quantity that produces a lower unit figure. The full purchase amount is what you must budget for, and the clinician still needs to agree the quantity.

Flixonase prices can change as providers update their catalogues or delivery terms. Recheck the selected presentation and final amount before payment, even if you have bought it before. If symptoms or your other medicines have changed, explain that during the assessment instead of treating a repeat as an automatic reorder.

Flixonase prices: common questions

Are these Flixonase prices for 150 sprays?

Yes. The matching rows use Flixonase Aqueous 50mcg per spray in a 150-spray bottle. Smaller bottles and nasal drops are excluded.

Why is Boots’ delivered total lower than yours here?

Our medicine price is £19.95 plus £3.99 standard delivery, giving £23.94. Boots lists £20 with free standard delivery. Those checked terms outweigh the five-pence pack-price gap.

Is Flixonase Aqueous the same as an over-the-counter allergy spray?

This guide covers the prescription-only Flixonase Aqueous presentation. Other brands or formulations need a separately labelled comparison and an appropriate treatment decision.

Can I use extra sprays to get faster relief?

Follow your prescribed directions. Full benefit can take several days of regular use. Do not increase the dose or combine steroid sprays without advice.
